The free cognition and the study of Art History and Aesthetics during the hopeful 70s, the anti-University of New York and trips to Europe and East showed me the way.
After the recent ominous happenings I decided to team up with my fellow-thinkers for the realization of the ideas that were bequeathed to me by my genetic memory and my “especial” background.
Cherishing the optimism insufflated to me by the ancient Epicurus, I’ll try with your help to suggest ideas and plans for the solution of the modern Greek society’s vital problems.
In this Election I ask you to empower the Ecologists/Greens Party with the belief that “nothing is impossible”.
Yes, the impossible is possible, but few are those who can achieve it.
Imagine how much worst the world would be but for those who in their eras dared the assumed then unachievable. In our time and age the solution of our planet’s problems for the most is a lost cause. We believe that if we persuade you not to throw once more your vote away to the traditional parties and to join us, together we’ll see miracles.
In our country’s political scene lead the party mechanisms and their unworthy representatives who with audacity decline any responsibility even though they ruled in this country for ever and ever. It is time to push them aside because their only achievement was destruction - they destroyed the environment and they demoted our quality of life to an index that counts the Pyramidical Oligarchy’s earnings.
The modern Greek with the “hypnotized” aesthetic perception, unable to build his everyday living on basic philosophical and religious virtues, dithers to trust us and to support the Ecplocist/Green Party and fall in with our views, whereas it is apparent that there is no other way expect only the ecological one. He gets resentful and angry every time a tragedy like fires and floods happens, he weeps and hollers at the television “windows”, but when the time comes to dispense justice by his vote, funnily enough… once more re-elects his destructors!
He “cares” for his children’s future by selling the only weapon he affords against them to any member of the parliament who promises to him a footling public post and he does not worry for the essential thing he must bequeath to them in order to secure this future: a viable natural environment.
The time has come for us to wake up- there is very little, if any, time left!
The Earth’s viability, especially our country’s which is of the most damaged, it is not something that concerns our great or great-great-grandchildren – it is something that is going to trouble us and our children straight of, the next decade.
The Ecologist/Green Party in which I’m privileged to participate as a candidate in the Election of the 16th of September 2007, it is the only party that has to propose serious and well-founded solutions for all the problems our country faces this instant and those solutions are based on the respect for the human being as well as any other form of life exists on this gorgeous piece of the Earth we had the luck to be born in. If you really love it, if you love yourselves, give it the chance it deserves – unite with us and together we will succeed miracles.
